What Makes a Good Teacher

What Makes A Good Teacher?

A good teacher requires skills, qualities and attitude. Some skills teachers must have are a knowledge of subjects and good classroom management skills so that they can engage the learners who will learn more. To be good at classroom management, they need to have confidence in themselves but also confidence with their students and other teachers. Good teachers needs to be passionate about teaching so they can enjoy what they’re doing so that while they’re teaching, students are getting knowledge into their heads.
It may also influence students to pursue their passions.

Qualities that teachers must have are, a good personality,,a good sense of humour,  kindness and being a good listener. This will then lead to better communication and understanding with the students. Strong relationships with their students is very important, as well as being able to communicate with parents. Teachers need to have the quality of caring so that they are always there for students in need.

Some attitudes teachers have to have towards students are always having patience with their students. If teachers have positive attitude towards students and positive attitude in themselves, then it will lead to success and a positive future. A good teacher supports their students. This also comes from being a friendly teacher. It is good to be kind and friendly to students because they then will do the right thing and can also come to you anytime and tell you their problems or doubts. Then that’s where the support and encouragement comes in.
